Polysoak - The Pre-wrapped Soakaway Solution

Polysoak is an instant soakaway system that has been designed to save the installer time and money.

The new unit comprises of 2 Polystorm Cells (PSM1) which are clipped together and wrapped in a geo-textile, to prevent the ingress of silt and debris, providing quicker installation. The unit is then covered in a protective bag, to guard the geo-textile from UV rays, during storage and transit.

Steel covers and frames are recommended only for slow moving applications, not main roads. We keep covers with a point load of up to 25 tonnes, and are very happy to recommend the correct loading for any application if you are unsure.

Wrekin Fastrack 609

Fastrack 609, available from all our branches in a selection of roll and pack sizes, is a woven type Geotextile. Developed for commercial and home garden applications, it is ideal for use as a temporary site road access and for preventing the loss of granular material into underlying soil under driveways, footpaths, patios and any other paved surface. In cases where serious waterlogging may be anticipated, we firmly recommend Wrekin’s Multitrack, a non woven material.

Naylor Drainage & Ducting,

Think of Naylor and you probably think of clay pipes, a product which the Yorkshire based company has manufactured since its inception in 1890. Clay’s longevity and chemical resistance have ensured that it remains a popular material, particularly in infrastructure work - from the roads and sewers, which service housing developments to major civil engineering projects. Perhaps unsurprisingly, clay drainage remains close to the company's heart.

Naylor also offer the most technically advanced and comprehensive range of ducting systems available in the UK today. This ducting meets the needs of all civils, utility and telecommunication markets. Twinwall Ducting is available in six sizes from 50/63mm to 150/178mm and can be supplied in either 6 metre lengths or 50 metre coils. Naylor twinwall ducting offers the advantages of a lightweight flexible product combined with high strength and durability. Produced to the standard BS EN50086-2.4 MetroTwinwall is designed to meet the required compression strength and is supplied in various colours and markings. The external corrugated profile gives the product added strength and the internal bore is smooth to prevent cables from snagging.

Following a multi-million capital investment programme, Naylor Drainage have launched a comprehensive range of Twin Wall Drainage products. The company offers two systems - Metro-Drain, its BBA approved Twin Wall Highway Drainage system and N-Drain, its non BBA system for agricultural and nonhighways use. Both systems are available in sizes 150, 225, 300, 375, 450 and 600mm and standard 6m lengths. To complement the two pipe systems, Naylor offers a full range of both BBA and non BBA fittings as well as a fabrication service, producing complementary items such as chambers and catch pits. Naylor’s new large diameter capability has also allowed the company to extend its established Metrotwin Twin Wall ducting range. The company now offers blue and yellow pipe in larger sizes - most notably 225 and 300mm - into the utilities markets.

We are now a stockist for Stanton Bonna‘s range of concrete chamber rings, soakaway rings and gully pots.

Stanton Bonna is a leading UK producer of concrete and GRP products serving most sectors of the construction industry. They offer a high standard of service and we are pleased to be operating in unison with them.

Stanton Bonna is the sole manufacturer of Elliptical Pipes which are used for foul and surface water drainage applications, stream diversions, culverting and attenuation storage tanks. The pipe’s elliptical internal profile is hydraulically efficient and the external polygonal profile is structurally efficient. Together they provide a unique and highly cost-effective reinforced concrete drainage product. Elliptical Pipes can be ordered from Elliotts for direct to site delivery.

Wrekin ElevAta - Height Adjustable Manhole Covers and Gully Gratings

Wrekin are again leading the way through innovative design with the launch of ElevAta access covers and gully gratings, the ‘single fix solution for raising iron work’. ElevAta provides a simple and very cost effective solution to the expensive and inconvenient problem of raising iron-work on roads surfaces prior to final road surface course application.

Recent changes to planning permission for new estate roads state:

‘...all manhole covers and gully gratings shall be set to the level of the temporary running surface until immediately prior to the laying of the
final wearing course’.

Wrekin's design objective was to develop a simple and efficient raising system that provides contractors with the ability to raise manhole covers quickly and safely, without the need to breakout and re-bed the assembly.
